Community Association-Litigation

Siegfried Rivera, P.A. has an opening in its Coral Gables office for an associate attorney with at least 3-8 years of experience in community association law and/or commercial and construction litigation experience. Some responsibilities include:
1. Litigation of condominium enforcement claims, declaratory actions, construction disputes, injunction actions and general litigation.
2. Representation of community associations, developers and general contractors as general counsel.
3. Reviewing and interpreting community association governing documents, construction contracts, and other legal documents.
4. Attend condominium and homeowner association board and members’ meetings.
5. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
6. Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
7. Build trusting relationships with clients.
8. Ability to grow your career with unique business development opportunities.
9. Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.

Skills/Qualifications:
1. JD from an accredited law school.
2. Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
3. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Be proactive and a self-starter.
5. Excellent research and writing skills.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
7. Community Association/HOA or Construction experience is a plus.
8. Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
