Jeffrey S. Berlowitz joined the firm in 2010 and focuses his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, reorganizations and workouts, commercial litigation, real estate and corporate representation. He represents a broad range of debtors and creditors in all areas of bankruptcy matters including Chapters 7, 11 and 13 proceedings, reorganizations and workouts, asset protection and financial management issues. Mr. Berlowitz has represented creditors in bankruptcy courts in Florida, Delaware, New York and Texas in some of the largest chapter 11 reorganization cases. He also focuses on representing petitioners in assignment for the benefit of creditors’ proceedings, assisting corporations to efficiently liquidate and wind down. Mr. Berlowitz prides himself on being a trusted advisor to his clients by providing sincere personalized attention to each of their needs with the goal of achieving their desired outcomes.
Mr. Berlowitz is a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association, the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the Southern District of Florida and the Business Section of the Florida Bar.
He frequently lectures on bankruptcy related topics, presenting at various tradeshows and seminars throughout Florida.
