PRIMARY FOCUS & EXPERIENCE

Jared S. Guberman joined the firm in 2020 and focuses his practice on community association law, commercial litigation, and construction law. He represents community associations, assisting them with a wide range of litigation matters, drafting and negotiating contracts, providing opinion letters, interpreting governing documents, counseling boards of directors and property managers on the day-to-day operation of their association, and preparing for and attending board and owner meetings. Additionally, he handles the negotiation, mediation, and litigation of construction cases. While litigating large, multi-party construction defect lawsuits, he also represents clients in matters related to construction lien, performance and payment bond, and contract claims.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Guberman represented developers, contractors, subcontractors, product manufacturers, material suppliers and sureties in various construction matters in both state and federal court.

Mr. Guberman was an athlete during college. He was a Division II All-America Kicker and All-Conference Punter while making the Gulf South Conference All-Academic Football Team. He was inducted into the University of West Georgia Athletics Hall of Fame. While in law school, Mr. Guberman was a member of Nova Law Review, president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, recipient of the CALI Award for the Highest Grade in Evidence and received Dean’s List Honors.

Mr. Guberman was co-chair of the Broward County Bar Association Publicity and Publications committee and a contributor and editor for the Broward Bar Barrister. Currently, Mr. Guberman operates his own business, providing professional and personalized instruction to place kickers and punters across South Florida.
