Legal Update Course for Condominium Board Members
Condominium board members are now required to take an annual 1-hour legal update class in addition to the 4-hour board member certification course. This course is approved by the DBPR to fulfill the 1-hour legal update continuing education requirement for condominium board members.
House Bill 913, also known as the “Condominium and Cooperative Bill,” was signed into law and brought substantial changes to various sections of the Condominium Act. This course serves as a helpful guide to understanding the legislative changes now facing Florida’s condominium and cooperative communities.

Step 1: Register for the Course
Please use the link below to register. Registration is required to access the course recording. The course is approximately 1 hour long and may be paused, as needed.
To receive your certificate, you must:
- Watch the course in its entirety.
- Identify the embedded code word.
Step 2: Complete the Survey
Once you’ve completed the course, use the survey link below to submit the single code word as proof of active attendance. You must complete the survey to qualify for the certificate.
