Associate Attorney – Community Association Law

Location: Coral Gables and/or West Palm Beach, Florida

About the Role

Siegfried Rivera is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Community Association practice group and work closely with a senior shareholder representing condominium and homeowner associations throughout South Florida.

This is a hands-on, client-facing position that offers significant responsibility from day one. The successful candidate will regularly interact with boards of directors, property managers, owners, contractors, consultants, and opposing counsel while managing a diverse caseload of community association matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted counsel to condominium, homeowner, and master association clients
• Advise boards and property managers on governance, operational, and legal matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, governing documents, and other association-related agreements
• Counsel clients on compliance, enforcement, disputes, and risk management
• Manage a diverse caseload while collaborating with shareholders on complex legal matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in The Florida Bar
• Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Client-focused, practical, and solutions-oriented approach to legal counseling

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience in community association, real estate, construction, or related litigation matters
• Litigation experience
• Experience advising boards of directors and association clients
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal agreements
• Familiarity with NetDocuments, Curo365, LexisNexis, Westlaw, iCONECT, or similar legal technology platforms
