Trial Attorney – Construction Litigation, Commercial Litigation and First-Party Property

Siegfried Rivera is seeking a skilled and motivated Trial Attorney with at least 5 years of trial experience, preferably in construction litigation, commercial litigation, and first-party property claims for its Coral Gables office. The ideal candidate will be able to handle complex multi-party construction cases in state and federal court, attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, and manage cases effectively. This role will offer hybrid work options after the initial training period, competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and an annual bonus potential. Responsibilities

• Ability to review, draft, and analyze construction agreements.
• Ability to draft, review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and state and federal court trials.
• Manage cases and meet client expectations effectively.
• Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.
• Build trusting relationships with clients.
• Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.

Qualification

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission with the Florida Bar.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• 5+ years of trial experience and complex business litigation.
• Strong knowledge of construction, lien, insurance and surety law preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of litigation cases from inception to trial.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
