CORAL GABLES, Fla. (April 5, 2013) —- Steven M. Siegfried of the Coral Gables-based law firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel has been recognized for 30 years of board certification as a trial attorney by The Florida Bar. He will be listed in a special section commemorating attorneys who have achieved the 30-year board certification milestone from The Florida Bar in the June issue of Florida Trend magazine.

Siegfried has focused on construction law in Florida since 1976, and he has served as an adjunct professor of construction law at the University of Miami since 1984. In addition to his board certification as a trial attorney, he is also board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar. Siegfried is also a founding Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College in 1971 and his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 1974.

Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice.
