CORAL GABLES, Fla. (March 8, 2013) —- Attorney B. Michael Clark, Jr. with the Coral Gables-based law firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel has been named to serve as a member of the Steering Committee for the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry, Division Seven: Insurance, Surety & Liens. The ABA Forum on the Construction Industry is the largest organization of construction attorneys in the world.

The steering committee for Division Seven is responsible for developing the public service and professional development projects, conferences and events for the group’s members, with a focus on aspects of insurance, surety and lien law. Forum members represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers and sureties. Its mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership.

Clark has focused primarily in the area of construction law since joining Siegfried Rivera in 2007. He has extensive experience with issues involving breach of contract, liens, bonds, delay claims, bid protests, insurance coverage disputes and property insurance claims. Clark received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. He is also a member of the Construction Association of South Florida, the South Florida Associated General Contractors, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar Construction Committee.
