Nicholas Siegfried Appointed Chair of Young Lawyers Division for American Bar Association

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (May 5, 2016) —- Shareholder Nicholas Siegfried with the Coral Gables-based law firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel has been appointed to a two year term as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association, Forum on Construction Law. The ABA Forum on Construction Law is the largest organization of construction lawyers in the world with over 6,000 members. The Forum has 13 substantive divisions that represent the varied interests of its members, as well as a Young Lawyers Division.

The Young Lawyers Division is responsible for providing young lawyers and young lawyer organizations with the tools and opportunities for professional and personal success. Membership is open to ABA members who are under 36 or in practice for less than five years. Forum members represent all segments of the construction industry: owners, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, insurers and sureties. Its mission is to serve the construction industry through education and leadership.

Siegfried has served as an attorney with the law firm since 2006 and practices in the areas of construction law, community association law and commercial litigation. He received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Siegfried is board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar.
