Niurys Robaina joined the firm in 2022, focusing her practice in the areas of community association law and commercial litigation. She represents clients in a broad range of community association matters, including transactional work; drafting amendments and opinion letters; performing contract and lease review; preparing and conducting meetings; and providing legal counsel to the officers, directors and property managers of community associations. In the construction sector, she assists clients in all aspects of construction contracting and dispute resolution, providing clients with result-driven and cost-effective solutions. She helps client with construction project issues such as cost overruns, disputes relating to change orders and extra work and construction defects.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Robaina worked at other law firms handling matters pertaining to plaintiff first-party property litigation cases. She was responsible for all motion practice, hearings, mediations, depositions and negotiations on her cases. She also facilitated pre-suit settlements letters, complaints, discovery responses, settlement negotiations and attended depositions.
