CORAL GABLES, Fla. (September 22, 2014) —- Partner Nicholas D. Siegfried with the Coral Gables-based law firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel has been nominated for consideration for the American Bar Association’s 2014 National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.

The National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award recognizes an ABA young lawyer who exhibits professional excellence, service to the profession and the bar, service to the community, and a reputation for or the advancement of legal ethics and professional responsibility. The winner will be presented the award at the organization’s 2015 Midyear Meeting in Houston.

Siegfried is experienced in many facets of construction law including breach of contract, liens, bonds and Chapter 558 claims. He received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and he serves as the editor of Florida Construction Lien Law and Florida Construction Law (Aspen Publishers, 2001).
