CORAL GABLES, Fla. (June 19, 2019) —- Siegfried Rivera is proud to announce that attorneys Maryvel De Castro Valdes and Shari Wald Garrett have been named as partners. Valdes joined the firm in 2014 and concentrates her practice in community association and real estate law, while Garrett joined in 2004 and practices in the area of community association law.

In addition to her work in community association and real estate law, Maryvel de Castro Valdes has extensive experience representing community associations in both condominium lien foreclosure actions and mortgage foreclosure actions. She also represents a broad range of clients in real estate matters including acquisitions, commercial lending, lease transactions and landlord/tenant disputes. She received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2003.

Shari Wald Garrett focuses her practice on full service community association representation, as well as commercial litigation. Her extensive experience representing condominium and homeowners associations throughout Florida includes general representation, handling developer and owner disputes, negotiating and drafting contracts, amending and interpreting governing documents and handling election disputes. She received her Juris Doctor from University of Miami School of Law in 2001.
