Attorneys Michael Clark and Nicholas Siegfried with Law Firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel Earn Board Certifications in Construction Law from The Florida Bar

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (August 1, 2014) —- Attorneys B. Michael Clark, Jr. and Nicholas D. Siegfried with the Coral Gables-based law firm of Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel have earned board certifications in construction law from The Florida Bar.

Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of competency and experience within an area of law, and professionalism and ethics in practice. Board certified Florida Bar members are the only Florida attorneys who are allowed to identify themselves as experts and specialists. There are less than 350 attorneys who are board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar.

B. Michael Clark, Jr. has focused primarily in the area of construction law since joining the firm in 2007. He has extensive experience with issues involving breach of contract, liens, bonds, delay claims, bid protests, insurance coverage disputes and property insurance claims. Clark received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Nicholas D. Siegfried has served as an associate with the law firm since 2006 and practices in the areas of construction law, community association law and commercial litigation. He received his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami. He is admitted to The Florida Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
