Siegfried, has been designated as a “Senior Statesman” by Chambers and shareholder, Stuart Sobel, has earned the ranking of “Band 1” in Florida construction law for 2014 from Chambers USA, the global legal industry researcher which publishes the leading directories of the legal profession. He has served as an adjunct professor of construction law at the University of Miami since 1984. Siegfried is a founding Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College in 1971 and his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 1974.
A shareholder with the firm since 1995, Stuart Sobel is board certified in construction law by The Florida Bar. He is also certified as circuit civil mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and as a civil trial attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Sobel is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers, having completed a three-year term sitting on its Board of Governors, and he is active as a neutral on the American Arbitration Association’s Large and Complex Case Panel for Construction. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Brown University in 1975 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1978.
