CORAL GABLES, Fla. (January 24, 2024) —- Attorney Jonathan M. Cohen has joined the South Florida law firm of Siegfried Rivera as a shareholder and will focus on the firm’s work with real estate developers, property owners, lenders, hotels and retail tenants.

Prior to joining the firm, Cohen was a partner at Miami’s Bilzin Sumberg, where he worked with shopping centers, office and condominium developers, as well as represented lenders, commercial real estate owners, buyers, sellers and tenants. He formerly chaired the real estate practice group of Weiss Serota in Miami, where he focused on public/private partnerships, including airport leasing and development. Before relocating to Miami, he was a senior associate at Kramer Levin in New York City, where he focused on the representation of leading New York real estate developers and national retailers. Cohen’s career has also included serving as in-house counsel for major privately held and publicly traded real estate developers such as the Pyramid Companies, New Plan Excel, and Turnberry Associates.

Cohen earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law, and he received his Bachelor’s Degree with cum laude honors from George Washington University.
