PRIMARY FOCUS & EXPERIENCE

Alejandro Torvis focuses his practice in community association and construction law. He represents clients in a broad range of community association matters. Mr. Torvis assists condominium and homeowners’ associations with the day-to-day operation of their communities, including transactional work, drafting amendments and opinion letters, performing contract and lease reviews, preparing and conducting meetings, and providing legal counsel to the officers, directors, and property managers of community associations. He also assists with matters related to construction defects, including Chapter 558 inspections, procedures and negotiations, as well as litigating such claims.

While in law school, Mr. Torvis served as a law clerk for the firm. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Rudolph Contreras, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Prior to law school, Mr. Torvis was a campaign aide for former Miami-Dade County mayor Alex Penelas.
