Jonathan M. Cohen, Shareholder

Jonathan M. Cohen has extensive experience representing commercial real estate and hospitality clients. In particular, his practice involves the acquisition, sale, financing, development and leasing of real estate assets, including office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily buildings, hotels, warehouse/industrial properties and mixed-use projects. Mr. Cohen represents a wide variety of retail tenants with a focus on national and international restaurant chains. Throughout his career, Mr. Cohen has worked with leading developers such as Turnberry Associates, the Pyramid Companies and Brixmor Property Group (formerly known as New Plan Excel). Originally from the New York metropolitan area, Mr. Cohen practiced law at Kramer Levin where he represented sophisticated developers in connection with the leasing, financing, and development of high-profile Manhattan projects.

Mr. Cohen was previously a partner at Bilzin Sumberg, representing Miami’s top developers in condominium development, retail and office acquisitions, and sales and leasing. He also chaired the real estate department of Weiss Serota and was Of Counsel to Alvarez Diaz-Silveira, LLP.
