PRIMARY FOCUS & EXPERIENCE

Katarina Neyra joined the firm in 2023. Her practice is focused on community association law, commercial litigation and construction law. Her experience includes the representation of condominium associations, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors on matters involving contract review and negotiation, construction defects, construction liens, breach of contract claims, and settlement negotiations.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Neyra served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Veronica A. Diaz.

While in law school, Ms. Neyra was on the St. Thomas University College of Law Trial Team and participated in an intramural competition where she was awarded “Best Advocate.” She was also selected to compete in the FJA Honorable E. Earle Zehmer Memorial Mock Trial Competition. Her academic achievements include receiving the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in Property Law and Criminal Law. Ms. Neyra was an active member of various student organizations, including the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Children and Family Law Society and the Cuban American Student Bar Association.
