PRIMARY FOCUS & EXPERIENCE

Meily Perez joined the firm in 2026, bringing nearly a decade of experience in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance-related contract disputes. Her practice now focuses on construction-related matters and community association law.

Ms. Perez handles complex litigation with substantial trial experience and a strategic, results-driven approach. She is known for efficiently advancing cases while positioning them for litigation when necessary. Her experience spans all phases of litigation, including jury trials, dispositive motion practice, depositions, mediations, expert discovery, coordination, and site inspections.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Perez managed a high-volume caseload from pre-suit through trial, representing plaintiffs in property insurance disputes throughout Florida. She has extensive experience litigating claims involving structural property damage, coverage disputes, and assignments of benefits. She routinely works with contractors, engineers, and other industry experts to develop and execute case strategy. She has also represented clients before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings (DOAH) in matters involving state administrative law.
