Ms. Lerner maintains an “AV” rating, the highest available for an individual, from Martindale-Hubbell. She is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which is the oldest and one of the most respected peer-reviewed listings in the legal profession, and was named to the Best Lawyers in America: Women in the Law listing in 2016 and 2017. She is also listed in the South Florida Legal Guide as one of the top lawyers in her field in South Florida.

Ms. Lerner was also appointed to serve as an original member of the Condominium and Planned Development Law Certification Committee, a nine-person committee that was responsible for developing and overseeing the board certification process for all community association lawyers in Florida. This Committee was charged with creating and grading examinations, reviewing applications and recommending those individuals found to have met the standards provided by the approved certification plan to the Board of Legal Specialization and Education.

She has spoken on a number of community association law topics throughout her career, industry lectures at the University of Miami Institute of Condominiums and Cluster Development symposium on topics such as “Tort Liabilities of Condominium or Homeowners Associations, Unit Owners and their Directors” and “Preparing for and assuming turnover of control – Developer and Association Perspectives.” She is a member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and is a member and former director of the Greater Miami Chapter.
